Hello, I’m Charlie—an independent developer and long-form writer.
I enjoy understanding how complex systems work, then turning abstract ideas into products people can actually use. Engineering, product thinking, and writing all lead me back to the same practice: find a worthwhile problem and make the answer real.

What earns a place here
I tend to write about three things: work I have done myself, questions that refuse to leave me alone, and methods that may still be useful a year from now.
That means updates may not be frequent. Showing up every day matters less to me than bringing a little more clarity each time I do.
